Wednesday 18th December 2024 – Christmas Walk

Meet us at Rock Uk Summit Centre at 9.30am where we will start our two part Christmas event – a walk followed by refreshments and a project update at the Summit Centre.

Part 1 – A 6km (potentially shorter, weather/ground conditions dependable) walk on the Common. Leaving from the Summit Centre (Rock UK) at 0930hrs. Walking/sturdy boots are advised. This will be an opportunity to see examples of the work undertaken and talk with volunteers, staff etc whilst exploring the Taf Bargoed area of the Common. Christmas themed jumpers and hats are encouraged 😊! 

Part 2 – Tea, coffee and cake will be provided at the Summit Centre. A short, informal presentation will be given about current and future projects planned and there will be ample opportunities for informal discussions with volunteers, graziers, staff, partners etc. Estimated start time is 1130hrs, although you are welcome to drop in at any time after this point.  The room is booked until 1330hrs.
