Common Connection
Comin Cydweithredol (Common Connection) was a two year landscape scale project which focused on three key work areas:
- Tackling Landscape Crime
- Public Engagement
- Habitat Restoration & Creation
Community and school engagement was a key element of the project, with opportunities for members of the public and local schools provided to take a proactive role in the upkeep of the common.
Regular volunteer sessions were held, and local schools were encouraged to explore and learn about the common, its history and importance to the local area. The project worked closely with local and national partners and are indebted for the support they provided.
